OTMT Youth Weight Training Class
Ages 13 & Under | 45-Minute Training Session

Our Youth Weight Training Class is designed to help young athletes build a strong foundation the right way. Using On The Map Training’s systematic training approach, athletes will learn proper movement mechanics, body control, strength fundamentals, and confidence in the weight room.

This class is not about lifting heavy. It is about teaching youth athletes how to move, stabilize, absorb force, produce power, and train safely with structure.

Each 45-minute session includes:

Movement Prep & Mobility
Athletes will start with dynamic warm-ups, mobility work, and activation drills to prepare their bodies for training.

Strength Fundamentals
We teach proper technique for foundational movements such as squats, hinges, lunges, pushes, pulls, carries, and core stability.

Body Control & Coordination
Athletes will develop balance, posture, rhythm, and control through age-appropriate exercises.

Speed, Power & Athletic Development
Sessions may include low-level plyometrics, medicine ball work, footwork, and explosive movement drills tailored to youth athletes.

Confidence & Weight Room Education
Athletes will learn how to train with focus, discipline, and proper form while building confidence in a safe coaching environment.

This class is perfect for young athletes who are new to strength training or need a structured program that prepares them for sports, physical development, and long-term athletic success.
